bullet-dodging

bullet-dodging
Where a company delays the timing of the grant of executive share options so that a holder can benefit from having the options priced after an anticipated fall in the share price once an impending negative announcement is released. Depending on the facts of the case, bullet-dodging could amount to market abuse.
