In calculating the correct period of notice for shareholders' meetings, the date of the notice and the day of the meeting are excluded. The Articles of Association usually provide that notice sent by post is deemed received after 48 hours. In calculating notice periods, an additional four days may be required from the date of the notice to the date of the meeting.
