Planning Policy Statements

Planning Policy Statements
Planning Policy Statements (PPSs)
A policy document issued by central government setting out national land use policies for England relating to different areas of planning. PPS are being produced to replace Planning Policy Guidance. They aim to give greater clarity to policy and to remove advice on practical implementation, which is better separated from policy and set out in separate guidance.
