Also known as "bible" or "bible of documents". The set of main documents signed in a deal which are grouped together for ease of reference.
In a loan transaction, the lender's solicitor usually prepares the bible and circulates copies (in either electronic or paper format) to the relevant parties shortly after the documents have been signed.
It usually includes copies and/or conformed copies (conformed copy) of the relevant deal documents. Certain documents (such as fee letters) may not always be included in the bible for confidentiality reasons.
