The right to attend and offer advice to governing bodies (governing body) at proceedings relating to the selection or dismissal of any teacher, and to have that advice considered.
Local authorities (Local Education Authority (LEA)) have advisory rights in respect of all community, voluntary, special and maintained nursery schools under regulation 12 of the School Staffing (England) Regulations 2003 (SI 2003/1963).
