In the context of dispute resolution, a mechanism by which large volumes of electronic material may be searched quickly and at a lower cost than reviewing the entirety of the material. Accepted under CPR 31 as a method, in an appropriate case, of assisting parties to scope reasonable and proportionate searches by helping them to identify the most important material first.
