statutory grievance procedure

statutory grievance procedure
Part of the statutory dispute resolution procedures in force since 1 October 2004, that employers and employees must follow in relation to certain types of employee grievance. A more comprehensive procedure may be used, provided it incorporates all the steps of the applicable statutory procedure. There is a three-stage standard grievance procedure applicable to the majority of cases and a two-stage modified grievance procedure that can be followed in certain circumstances.
