Financial projections are forecasts of income and related expenses that may include:
• Projection of the company's sales or income.
• Projection of expenses.
• Estimated level of investment in current and fixed assets.
• Calculation of the company's financing needs.
Delivery of financial projections is a typical conditions precedent in a bank loan financing. In an acquisition finance the projections are particularly significant because they forecast operations of the company post-acquisition.
