The largest full-service alternative dispute resolution provider in the US. The AAA's administrative services include:
• Arranging hearings.
• Providing users with information on dispute resolution options, including settlement through mediation.
• Acting as the appointing authority in, as well as administering arbitrations.
• Assisting in the appointment of mediators and arbitrators.
• Help parties and arbitrators conduct cases under the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Arbitration Rules.
A specific set of procedures applies to AAA-administered UNCITRAL arbitrations (see Procedures for Cases in UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules).
When parties select the AAA for an international case, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution's (ICDR) International Dispute Resolution Procedures will apply unless the parties have expressly provided for the AAA Commercial Arbitration Rules in their arbitration agreement.
