Lands Tribunal

Lands Tribunal
a tribunal set up under the Lands Tribunal Act 1949 with jurisdiction to determine questions relating, inter alia, to: (i) compensation for the compulsory purchase of land; and (ii) the extinguishment or modification of restrictive covenants under Section 84 of the Law of Property Act 1925.
In Scotland, the Lands Tribunal for Scotland discharges corresponding functions.
