grey market dealing

grey market dealing
grey market trading/grey market dealing.
This term has different meanings depending on the context in which it is used:
In the context of securities generally, trading which takes place following a company's announcement of a securities issue, where dealers are prepared to buy and sell securities ahead of the issue (that is, to buy and sell promises to deliver the securities when issued). This is also referred to as "when issued" trading. If the securities are not issued at all, all the trades will be unwound.
In the context of competition law, parallel trading whereby importers bring branded goods into the market from other markets where they may be obtained more cheaply.
