One of four procedures through which a public body may award a contract under Public Sector Procurement Directive. The restricted procedure allows any interested party to request to participate in the contract tender but only those invited by the public body following a pre-qualification stage may submit a tender. The other procedures are the open procedure, the competitive dialogue procedure and the negotiated procedure.
