trade dispute
A dispute between workers and their employer which relates wholly or mainly to any of the following: terms and conditions of employment; physical working conditions; engagement or non-engagement; suspension; termination of employment; allocation of work; disciplinary matters; membership or non-membership of a trade union; facilities for union officials; machinery for negotiation or consultation, or other procedures, relating to the above (including union recognition and union representation rights).
