worked principal agreement
worked principal agreement (WPA)
An agreement by a London Stock Exchange (LSE) member firm to effect as principal (at some future time) a transaction in a SETS security or a portfolio transaction which includes SETS securities within agreed price and size parameters.
The agreement is reported to the LSE under the LSE's WPA regime.
